Local Churches

Community InvolvementAll three of the Menlo Team has been actively involved in their local respective churches – – volunteering regularly as instructors, mentors and in numerous service projects.

Boy Scouts of America  – Both Matt and Rich have spent years giving back to the organization that helped shape them as youth and over the years have provided life, career and survival skills to hundreds of boys.

Habitat for Humanity – Matt began volunteering at Habitat for humanity in 1998.  It was during that summer that Matt discovered a passion for both construction and helping others.  Since then, he has helped volunteer at Habitat projects in four different states.

Salvation Army – Back in 2002, Matt and his wife adopted her family’s tradition volunteering at the Salvation Army to helping prepare and serve Thanksgiving meals to the homeless in San Diego.  It is a tradition they have carried on with their children every Thanksgiving since 2002.

Arizona Municipalities

Since 2008, Matt has served as a President, Treasurer and in general board positions for multiple Arizona municipalities, including and on their Public Facilities Municipal Development Corporations.  In this capacity, he has been responsible for reviewing or approving over $300 million of secured or unsecured loans for the purpose of financing or refinancing the acquisition, construction and improvement of City-owned projects.
